Attach your sales tax exemption certificate. In Pennsylvania that is form REV-1220, the Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate, filled in and signed. Schools and nonprofits in other states use their own state's exemption certificate. Resellers send their state resale certificate.
Your EIN is not a tax exemption certificate. The EIN (federal tax ID number) and an IRS 501(c)(3) letter do not exempt you from sales tax, so we cannot use them for this.
